When I stare into those alluring eyes, I see a reflection of myself.
A self longing the attention, the love, the passion...
This also makes me fear the possibilities.
Is there beauty in fear? Is there beauty in our vulnerabilities?
I wonder if those eyes can pierce through the walls I've built; bricks of fear and cement of guilt.
Can those eyes decipher my emotions undone?
Or the pain from which I run?
Tell me, by virtue of our experiences, is pain different or is it the same?
Should we numb our emotions or are they to be experienced and claimed?
I can find my calm in those sublime circles.
Are they the halo of an angel or the disguised devil?
The paradox of your eyes makes me question if life and death are the same?
Do we give meaning to death my living or do we give meaning to life by dying?
Is getting lost in your eyes a sin?
Or are those beautiful eyes of your looking at the nakedness that lies within?
That gaze of yours warps the entirety of time,
Such an intoxicating effect is more than just a crime.
I'm showering confessions due to the hypnotics the pair play,
So please close your eyes if you may.
Your eyes are more meaningful than words,
So even the absence of words makes me enjoy the silence.
For the control they have over me,
I beg to go blind, so I can be set free.
If just your eyes have a thunderous effect on me,
'I rather not have you in my life', is a sincere plea.
